You know you would never think of something like that happening, but, long before our yorkies, we had Mandy, a min. schnauzer and Tina is a very very small schnauzer, about the same size as our yorkies. When she was younger she liked to get up on Mandy and pull on her collar. I was on a long distance phone call and heard her screaming. She had gotten her teeth hung in Mandy's collar and Mandy was just slinging her round and round. I threw the phone half way across the room, screaming too and finally got her loose. Our situation was alittle different since Mandy was bigger and Tina was the one getting hurt. Scared me to death. From then on I put the collars on them that had a more smooth, slicky material, and never had another problem. But, collars are dangerous and I will never forget that day. So, so, glad your baby is okay. It could have been a real tragedy and almost was. Thank God you were there. My yorkies don't wear collars and my 2 schnauzers do wear collars, but, very loosely. I never kennel them with a collar though.
