Step 3
For boys, or girls if you like the curved hemline on the underside of the shirt, this is how I've done it. Using my favorite tee as a guide, I placed it on top of the onesie, as if the onesie is wearing the tee.

Please make sure the back of the tee and the back of the onesie match up. You don't want to make mistake and cut the back short instead of the front. (tummy area)
Using the ruler, mark the curve anywhere from half and inch, to and inch and a half away from the tee.

The farther away you mark, the longer the shirt will end up being on the inside. (tummy area) You can make as few or as many marks as you want to guide your cut.

These further cuts will make the back of the tee shorter as well. On the bright side, it is less likely that your pup will pee on the tee. For the back side of the jammies, you can either use your ruler to make a straight even cut, or a curved cut. For the curve, use your pup's tee to help you. (if it also has a curved back). Use it as a guide before you make any cuts, similar to how we did the tummy area.
