I know you are trying to do what is best. I am just trying to say that a forum is good. And talking to breeders is good, but if you are serious about showing you need to get involved in your local kennel club. There is no better information than learning from those who have worked at establishing sound lines and have been in the show ring for many years. Everyone has to start somewhere. Showing dogs takes training. Most people get started by finding someone who will help them learn the ropes. I am not trying to insult you. I am trying to point you in the right direction. You are upset right now and you have every right to be. Any breeder that would send a dog loaded with ticks to you on a plane is not reputable or even humane. I am glad you know how to train a dog. I am just trying to impart some helpful information to you. Your local kennel club has information and contacts that you cannot find on a forum or a website.
