S: Adult Yorkshire Terrier presents for URI evaluation and hx of seizure activity O: mm pigmented but wet, normal dentition with a large amount of plaque; HR = 142, RR = 28. Occ. coughing noted, but no current nasal or ocular infection present. Thoracic ausculation is normal and without wheezes, fluid or other abnormalities. Normal abdomenal palpation. Good appetite, but finicky, normal stool and water intake / hydration has been noticed. A: Recovering kennel cough.; prossible epileptic P: Continue medications. Continue to observe for seizure activity and medicate if seizures occur more frequently (more than once per month, and/or multiple times per day) and/or are prolonged (more than 3 minutes).
