Yes, I'm talking about large muscular thick necked dogs who are stronger than the human, in those cases a choke collar might be beneficial, but you have to be trained on how to use it. It goes around a certain part of the neck, and it’s a quick “jerk” in the proper direction and never a pull. Let me just add, many people consider choke collars bad for all dogs, but I haven't researched enough to know the answer to that.
