I just use this collar for tags it makes him look so tough I use a normal collar for walks but I'm waiting to get my new harness in the mail then I will use it propably always  !

Why is it wrong to use half-chain collar if I dont go on walks with him in it ? Im not a bad dog owner or anything I would NEVER do anything to hurt my babie !
I dont use it for walks just to let him go out and pee and hold the tags, thats not so bad is it? |
Oh please don't use that collar on Yorkies, I know some trainers still insist on it, but one of the reasons trainers use it was it was easier to manipulate a large dog. You had to be trained in using it safely, but a 100 pound woman could train a 125 pound dog. With small dogs there's really no need, they will not over power you. A choke collar shouldn't be used to hold tags, if no leash is attached the collar could just fall off, or worse, they could be caught on something and choked. Bottom line though is if you haven't been trained by a professional to use it you should never use it.
