I just use this collar for tags it makes him look so tough I use a normal collar for walks but I'm waiting to get my new harness in the mail then I will use it propably always

Why is it wrong to use half-chain collar if I dont go on walks with him in it ? Im not a bad dog owner or anything I would NEVER do anything to hurt my babie !
I dont use it for walks just to let him go out and pee and hold the tags, thats not so bad is it?
