Hmm, interesting question. Average Iditarod dog weighs 45 to 55 pounds. Yorkies are 7. So you'd need 7 Yorkies for every Alaskan husky.
Probably is, you'd run into problems with rules. Iditarod allows only 16 dogs at the start. So if you tried to hitch up 16 x 7, you'd end up with 112 Yorkies and be disqualified.
At the same time, it takes as few as 3 dogs to pull a sled a short distance. So that's only 21 Yorkies.
