Default Fruits and veggies

If you can get your little ones to eat fruits and veggies, DO IT! (Grapes and raisins are a no-no though.)

We have been homecooking for Ozzie since he was small due to digestive issues. He has always liked apples, broccoli, strawberries, carrots, green beans, peaches, pears.

Now that he is geriatric (14+) and ill (lymphoma) having him accustomed to eating fruits and vegetables is a godsend! I had to stop feeding him cottage cheese and pineapple (both bad for lymph health). And I have substituted beets, spinach and watermelon. He eats all of it without hesitation. I think this is due to the fact that he has ALWAYS eaten fruits and vegetables and has never been shy to try new ones. (He basically likes them all except tomatoes.)

Talk to your vet about servings based on your Yorkie's size, but definitely try to get them accustomed to fruits and veggies while they're small!
