The Dog Food Project - Menadione (Vitamin K3)

This site also offers alot of information on it.
I heard that it's only in one cat food, and we really can't blame P&G as much as people think, it the ONLY AAFCO approved supplement of Vitamin K in dog foods and cat foods is the supplement Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex. Maybe we should blame AAFCO? I've got to say, I've read the translated German experiments, and the menadione was injected (injected into vein) NOT ingested (eaten), and this makes a huge difference in how the body metabolizes it. Also, no American Researchers are able to replicate the German studies. I personally think it's a mistake to villainize large companies; small companies do this as a way so they can compete.
