Default Is your Yorkie a Winter Dog or a Summer Dog?

Jackson is what I'd call a winter dog. I'm pretty sure it's his favorite season. He absolutely adores the snow... when the first flakes begin falling, oh my, he runs around like a "freak on a leash!" and just gets sooo super excited.

I really think he'd spend all day out in the snow if he could. He does get cold after about 30 minutes (when it's below 25 degrees or so) so I keep his jacket on him so he can last longer periods of time. But even when he's cold, he usually still wants to keep going.

I mean, I'd say he 'appreciates' all seasons, in reality. He adores his swimming pool time in the summer as he's obsessed with water but I'd say that's the only thing he likes about summer. If it's too hot, he doesn't want to walk or do much of anything. He gets so bored and restless in the summer but I find there's not much to do w/ him. Fall is awesome because the heat dies down and that's when we usually spend most of our time at the dog park or on long walks. And then Spring is always fun because there does come a point where the cold is just TOO much and so those first Spring days, he's always really excited too.

But LOL, in conclusion... I'd say winter is Jackson's fav. Fall is mine
