Are the fleas active in your house-- on his bedding etc? You may have to spray your house. I used borax one year when we had a really bad outbreak. I sprinkled it around all the edges of the rooms, outside of the house etc.
Some of the meds don't prevent flea bites, the fleas die but they bite your baby first. Some meds prevent the feas from reproducing. Check into that.
I alter between frontline and advantics.. in my mind that helps 
My vet recommended a new med.. I have to go in today and I will ask him about it. If it is something different I will post for you.

Ok..back from the vet.. he recommends Comfortis. Said that is the very best. I have not done any research yet.
