My babies went nuts when a mouse got on the porch. For days they sniffed every inch. I told my neighbor, and he said to get a fake mouse cat toy and put it somewhere on porch for them to find. My brother who trains sent dogs said to go to pet store that sells mice and ask for a paper towel to be put in with the mice, hopefully some will urinate on it. Wrap the sented paper towel around the fake mouse secure with a piece of thread. Then let them 'kill' the mouse. After they 'kill' it take it to the outside trash and let them see you throw it away.Be careful if you have more than one dog that they don't fight over the mouse. I didn't do any thing because after about 5 days they just stopped looking for the mouse. |
