Irene~ I know that , as a breeder, you have your pups s/n before they leave you. I was wondering about that procedure on such small babies .....when do they do it and, if they don't use microsurgery or laser, what is the procedure like?
Have you considered vasectomy and tubal ligation options for these little ones?
Sherry Dee~ Have you discussed other
less invasive procedures than a full spay with your vet? There is tubal ligation and also a procedure where just the uterus is removed but the ovaries are left intact so the girl still has the hormones she needs and there is no sudden menopause. If you are looking for a vet to do the laser which I would recommend I would ask about these other options.
