Here is a link to another thread that has lots of good information on it, as well as some links you can click on to read more about this disease.

You can private message the posters on this thread to ask about their dogs with Leggs Perthes and surgery and rehab etc.

I'm so sorry your pup has been ddx'd with this but it looks like surgery has a high success rate...that's good news. Just make sure to do all the pre-op blood work, and definitely notify the breeder of your pups condition.
