Several years ago, in a suburb of Atlanta; A family was ouside paying with their dacshund and a hawk swooped and picked it up. A family member grabbed the little dog by its legs and the hawk released it. It was all over the news. Hawks are really brave birds. You have to be super careful. I have to be on the lookout for them all the time.
They ARE brave, and this one was coming down closer & closer & closer even with me and my boyfriend in the yard with the dogs. I was scared it would take my baby out of my arms. BF might have been too since he ducked! LOL I am just glad that any remote possibility of tragedy was averted and now have to be even more on the lookout than ever before. Their noise really gives them away. I thought if that thing was quieter, it might have had a real chance of taking one of my boys. ggeezzz I'm glad it was loud!
