My lucy did this when she was a puppy.
I started wrapping her ina soft (and thick) blanket so she couldn't nip me AND giving her a little treat when I picked her up. Mainly she got mad if she was napping in a comfy spot and I had to move her for some reason.
Anyway, now she is fine with it and she is 2 years old. I guess she figures being picked up and moved can lead to good things!
