Also all my friends children refer to me with a "Miss" in front of my name which I also LOVE. When I was a child I was never allowed to refer to my parents friends with their first name unless we had known them for years and then it was a rare incident. To this day I still call them Mr or Mrs (old habits die hard). |
Yes that is how I grew up.
I have to tell a funny story. When I was in my late teens I was working for a company and met a lady, I asked her name and she said Miss Kathy. So I said ok, nice to meet you, may I ask your last name? She said Kathy. Long story short her name was Kathy Cathy (she married a Mr. Cathy --not too sure of the correct spelling) she had a lot of fun with me... in my mind I did not call her Miss Kathy
