Im so sorry for you and my heart goes out to you. When my boxer had puppies one of them had a severe cleft pallette and she was really suffering because she could not eat and she was getting weaker and sicker by the day and the vet said she would never be able to so I also had to put her down. You just have to rememebr that its your job to provide them with the best care and love that you can and if they are suffereing then ending that suffering is the best way to show them how much you love them, no matter how hard the desicsion is. You did the right thing and I will keep you in my prayers
