Poppy was spayed at the beginning of this month and I put a baby onesie and a long baby vest on her. She goes outside to potty though so I just unbuttoned the onesie when she needed to go out, but with the vest I didn't need to as it was long enough to cover her stitches but not too long so it stayed dry.
I didn't have a cone for her because my vet said he dosn't like to put them on dogs unless they are really licking the stitches a lot because sometimes it can make them depressed? I don't know. But Poppy didn't bother with her stitches that much, she cleaned them herself the first night then more or less left them alone. Just try putting a long t-shirt or dress on her. xx
