I did just add another one after saying for years that I wouldn't because it wouldn't be fair to Ellie. I knew another Yorkie wouldn't work out for us because a lot of them just love hours on your lap and that would have made Ellie miserable.

One of my all time favorite breeds (PBGV) came up in a rescue here (well, it was a stray but he looks just like one). Couldn't say no. Ellie hates him, snaps at him, but she is learning. They have started to play and look so darn cute. I think it helped Ellie that it was a male and not a female.

After two weeks I don't feel like we have put too much stress on Ellie over it and don't regret my decision.
