Thank you everyone. I feel much better reading your stories about your little ones. I hadn't heard of MVD. I hope that whatever is going on with Roxi is mild and can be managed without surgery (and that we can safely get her spayed in the near future). We are lucky to have 2 very good vets (2 sisters and one of the sisters owns a Yorkie). I will keep you updated on her results.

I do have situation that I'm not quite sure how to handle. Where we got Roxi, her sister is still there for sale...we take Roxi to see her every once in awhile. I feel that I should find out for sure what is wrong with Roxi before I call them...is MVD a genetic disease?? What would you guys do?
