I wound up leaving a couple of dollars as it does bring their individual rings up that they have to pay taxes on a portion of.

Before my daughter turned 18, she was a hostess/to go cashier and made minimum wage. I don't tip them for going to the back and getting my order- I also don't tip the sonic girl for bringing the bag and drinks to the car. Same concept to me. They didn't wait on me IE get my drink, refill it, appetizer, meal, clean off dirty plates, etc. They walked to the back, grabbed a bag someone else prepared and handed it to me.
