I have a Maltese and he is NOTHING like my Yorkie! He is very laid back and doesn't have the high energy that my Yorkie does. He's not a lover like Muffin either. Although Biscuit gets really excited when we come home, he won't kiss and cuddle like Muffin. She will lick your face off it you let her!
I must say though, Muffin has helped Biscuit to get off his lazy duff and be more playful. She just whines and begs him to play with her until he finally gives in (most of the time anyway).
Although the Maltese is white and a little harder to keep clean, they are such beautiful dogs. We keep Biscuit in a puppy cut and he is such a handsome lad.
I think that they balance each other out beautifully. I don't know what it would be like to have two high octane dogs around!
