Danni, I want to pipe in here with my 2 cents worth. I know you have had a lot of advice but like everyone else here I am worried about your situation. My mother was abusive, just with me not my little brother or sister. She was also very abusive and cold with any pets we ever had. I have some quite horrid memories of pets dying at her hands. Please don't let this go on too long. It will only get worse and stay with you forever. I am glad that you feel comfortable coming in here and telling us and listening to our advice. It is a very good thing to have others to talk to. But you definitly need somone you can physically talk to and who can help with intervention in yours and your dogs situation.
