I am happy that Teddy is ok. I have a retractable leash but very rarely ever use it. At the park one day there was a women with a large breed puppy and she was using a retractable dog leash and the dog pulled and the thick part of the leash pulled lose of the the thinner part that winds up in the handle and then the puppy was lose. It was scary because the puppy hadnt been taught to come yet so everyone who could was trying to get this puppy they finally did but it sure scared me from using the one I keep in Callies doggie bag.
