Eek! I would def contact them then! I have one, and two of my friends have one. They are all the same "long" length, but the handles on one is bigger than the other two, and one has white interwoven into the retractable part, and the other two do not. I do see they change their product. Perhaps if you bring this to their attention they will upgrade the clips as well.
