Ella is 18 weeks old now - we got her at 10 weeks. Initially we were going to train her to go potty inside on a grass patch because she is so little and we never thought she would get down our back concrete step on her own. That lasted a couple weeks and she finally got up and down the step so we decided to switch her to outside training.
So for the last 5 weeks we have taking her out - ringing a bell - giving treats and she will still potty in the house anywhere if given a chance so it obviously not connecting with her what to do.
All of a sudden today - she goes 3 different times right in front of us as she is in the living room playing with us into her playpen to pee or poo. The initial couple weeks when we would leave the house - we would leave her in her playpen with the grass patch. Nothing in there today but her bed and a few toys.
We want her to go outside but I am getting frustrated with the whole not getting it thing - what do I do now? Should I start putting pads in her playpen?? Help............
