Adding to my last statement....the alternative is to have a well wishes/prayers forum for sick and injured dogs, which is nice, but no one would learn anything.

We make our decisions with our vets, but is nice to go into appointments with some knowledge and understanding and maybe a few ideas to discuss with the doctor.
