My Piper is the sweetest little girl with adults but is afraid of fast moving children. I couldn't believe it when I actually heard a little growl come from her. I do have 3 very young grandsons that live far away and I only see them a few times a year. I have found that Piper is fine if they just ignore her when they first arrive. She will eventually approach them on her own terms. The boys know not to pick her up and not to chase her. By the end of their visits Piper and the boys are best friends. On the last visit my 20 month old grandson was sitting in Pipers bed with most of her toys in his lap. Piper would run up to her bed and each time my grandson would give her one of the toys. Just hearing him giggle every time she took one of the toys from his hand made me laugh.
