I have not talked to Jana ( tinker bells owner) since Wednesday evening. She was supposed to go to the shelter yesterday to see about getting her back, but i don't know if that happened or not. She did call the police Wednesday after I spoke to the shelter manager, and they were supposed to contact the manager. Having not spoke to Jana, I am not sure what has transpired.
I spoke to her husband last night, who said she had left earlier in the day to go handle some errands and things in the business office at the hospital.
Unfortunately I have nothing to update. I will update when I know something.
I did find out that The shelter is private owned. I have to been able to find out any information on it, other than the address. It's a private residence. I spoke to a humane society officer in Greenville, and he told me that he's never had a complaint of her 'stealing' a dog per se, but that he wouldn't swear that it doesn't happen. He also said her adoption fees are rather high, but she claims to be a no-kill shelter, so people in small communities talk and she gets animals by word of mouth.
