Gr 1 is nothing to worry about. Be glad your breeder was upfront about it with you. Uni was initially diagnosed with gr 3, then downgraded to 2. We have her on glucosamine supplements and it helps. We use Cosequin. Now the supplements don't cure the problem. It just helps with the joints to give more "juice" and help keep arthritis at bay. If it were me, I'd get the puppy in a heartbeat.
