Hope you got his leg X-Ray'd. If it is a fracture, blood supply could be comprimised. Had a broken leg here, Ortho Surgeon, Plate and screw, 100% now. Find a new Vet and take him to a BOARD CERTIFIED Surgeon. Best of luck
