WELCOME ! I'll try to address your questions for you:

1) Sounds like a normal ear infection if it's smelly and looks too grungy in there. Vet will give you a prescription ointment or drops - it should clear up well. Most oint/drops cover both fungal and bacterial.

2) The throwing up really is important - def tell the vet about this. Also consider - what did she eat w/ the breeder, what did you switch her too -- you have to look at the ingredients, the fat vs protein etc, and what form of food (ie, kibble from the breeder, canned from you or). So, the first step is to look backward. With the eating, she doesn't act strange right after eating a meal does she? Like, wobbly, confused, presses her head on the couch or...?

3) LOL. So, she's a barky McBarkerton - we have a few of those on this board - both dog and human . One thing that works for some is to fill a can w/ some coins and shake it when you want them to stop barking. Another thing to do is make a loud/fast HISSSSSS or a SHHHHH - and this will sometimes bring them back from the bark abyss. What I do is I tell them "Hey, it's okay, it's all good" - very calmly...just to tell them I do appreciate them watching their territory, lol. If they continue to go bonkers, then I ususally pick them up and say "thank you, it's okay, ssshhhhhh".

4) There is awesome info about treats/food in the Health Section, and the Grooming section is wonderful. Also, if you look toward the very top of the forum page - you'll see the YT Library - and there is so much helpful info in there.

5) We get lots of potty threads here - there is a section for that too - you can look in the General Training sectioin.

6) I think she will stay that size...or vary by a few ounces.

7) Yorkies do have somewhat of a reputation of bad teeth - and we do discuss dental stuff quite a bit in the Health section. People do a combo of preventive things like dog chews, CET Dental Chews, raw marrow bones, brushing teeth, dental water additives, dental pwdrs for on their food etc etc

8) I don't pluck my 3 babies ears and never really have. They don't have ear issues and their ears smell delicious, lol. That said, if they were prone - I may pluck then. But, your kiddo might not be 'prone', per se, but maybe this is just the first infection. I'd say most people like their yorkies ears plucked once a mth or so. You can def do it yourself, it's easy.

Hope that helps!
Ann
