I've seen some adorable Morkies! So cute and sweet. But I've also seen some that must not have 'mixed' so well. One was the size of a maltese, with the long hair, but purely orange in color.

So I think the suggestion to look at adopting an adult is a good one ~ you would know exactly what you are getting - no surprises in terms of appearance.

I've only seen one shorkie - my girlfriend had one - he wasn't very cute. No offense to anyone! He just wasn't. But he was an 'oopsie' breeding - no planning there.

No one here is a Morkie or Shorkie hater. There are lots of Morkie owners on the board.

But it will be hard to find someone to recommend a breeder that is mixing the breeds; as most reputable breeders will not.

This is Yorkietalk; the good breeders are passionate about their yorkies. It's like going to the Toyota plant and trying to find a Ford. Can be hard to do. (And I'm a Ford person myself)
