I think you have to be aware that having a puppy is like having a toddler in your home. They are very labour intensive until they're older and know all the rules of your home. It won't be a short period of time until he's totally trained, but when you are done it will have all been worth it.

We've had Ozzy since June 27 and he's making progress, but I know it'll be at least a few more months before I'm comfortable letting him out of my sight AT ALL in the house. But we will still be taking him outside lots for potty times and play times. It's a commitment to include the little guy in our family. We let him sleep with us on the bed. He loves it and he doesn't make a peep all night. He even likes to sleep in on the weekends
