My Zoey was beginning to backtrack a little. I think the error was that I was giving her too much freedom in my home. She started pooping in my front room, so I had to backtrack with the crate training and outdoor pottying. After I take her outside to relieve herself, I would usually leave her outside there for another 30-45 minutes (with my other dog) to make sure she has fully eliminated. Then I would bring her in for another hour or so of freedom. I have severely limited her range of the house (she is no longer allowed in the dining and living areas due to carpeting. I had to close that off to her) and the accidents have all but stopped. So I think my error was not allowing her enough time to finish pooping and peeing outside and giving her access to areas without watching her. I look forward to her being 100% potty trained like our beloved CJ.
