For her eyes, I knew when she was very young that there was a problem with them, her nose hair, by her eyes was always dripping wet- the vet did a quick test with a paper that touched her eyes, if the purple stuff ran out her nose, her eyes were fine, all that happened though was she then had purple stained hair on her nose hair by her eyes.
We opted to have the surgery for her eyes with her spay, because she was tiny at the time, she is now 5.5 lbs... so she will be under longer- all of her baby teeth have fallen out, so she can have the surgery now. (I wanted to wait to make sure no teeth were retained first)
I was under the assumption that there would be a tube down her throat, since there was for her mom, and the surgery will be longer because of the eye surgery she also needs.
I feel a lot better now though knowing that others have had the surgery with the reverse sneezing and things worked out fine.
I will be making the apt today then.
