I completely understand this requirement. Unfortunately, I did not a vet history in order to be considered for a rescue--but I think it was probably better this way because I don't think most people (including myself) understand how much it takes to raise a dog and because most rescues have a "past," I think they require a greater amount of special care and attention that most people cannot even comprehend.
