I have to agree with the person who said that the dog should be given to a rescue. I would not have that unpredictable dog around my children or my other dog. I am so sorry for your loss but I can't condone keeping that dog after what it did. It just shows that the dog is unreliable and unstable, even if in pain. It's no excuse. I hope you do what is right for your family and give up the dog to a reputable rescue. Good luck to you all, and again, I am very sorry for your loss.
