I believe there are some on YT that own Morkies and Shorkies as well as other cross breeds. Not everyone can buy from a person who breeds show dogs. That does not exclude them from being good owners. It's unfortunate that those who don't accept that Morkies are quite popular can't just say nothing.

I agree. I read they think Shih Tzus came from Lhasa Apsos crossed with ... maybe Japanese Chins? Either way, there are a lot of dogs that aren't purebred that are adorable and lovable. Pure bloodlines shouldn't be your only deciding factor. If you want a mutt, go for it! Mutts need homes too. If it turned out Nilla had some imperfection in her bloodlines, I wouldn't care because I love her just as she is!
