The news reporters had very little to do with the situation. The news came thru the families and friends at the church had already been told of the survival of the 12. In coal-mine towns, there is a network of news sharing that for most of us, is unfathomable..This is one of the first times I can remember that newspeople jumping the gun was not the case. The church bells rang telling the town the news BEFORE any reporter said the words..I guess I have to cut the news media a little slack this time..
