When my kids were still in grade school they talked me into getting them a dog. They promised they would do all the work and I would not have to worry about the dog. Ha! I was working and going to college at the time and did not need the care of another living being. Of course all their promises fell through. They had school and activities and I was left with a dog that still was not potty trained. I was going to try to find a new home for the dog but figured that would be irresponsible. So I made the dog MY dog. I trained him and we became fast friends for many years. |
