Before Teddy came along, Max would let me sleep as late as 8 or 9, but then he would give me a polite "mmm" or "woof." Once I opened my eyes, he would perform a nice sit. This was his way of asking for breakfast.
Teddy wakes up very early, sometimes 4 am, and sits at his window. He usually wakes me up to go potty anywhere between 5:30 - 6:30. Both Max and I grumble.
