One thing that bothered me...the judge treated this jury well. They went to special dinners, lunches, special entertainment provided for them, group trips, etc. The jurors said they felt like a big family...like cousins.
This makes it that much harder for them to disagree. They don't want their "new family" mad at them, they don't want to argue with each other.
