Default A bit upset with Jackson's groomer for the first time.

Jackson got groomed about 2 1/2 weeks ago. She's a mobile groomer and she comes to my dads house so we do all 3 dogs at the same time.

I've always been pretty happy with her services. She always cuts Jackson's hair the way I like/want it. Her prices are good (I pay $55 with tip, most mobile groomers around here are $80++).

He's been seeing her for a year now approx every 10-12 weeks.

Well... the last grooming, I found two fairly bad nicks on Jackson, near that sensitive 'flap' of skin on the back legs, if you know what I'm talking about. I attached a picture, it was the best I could get of the one cut, but it looked pretty ouchie! It scabbed over and has now closed up and healed, all I can see now is a little 'scar' that I'm not sure how long will last.

I also did not like the way she cut his face. The first picture attached is how she used to cut him, the second is how she did it this time, the third is the cut.

Anyways, I was a little irritated that she did not inform me. Don't you think Jackson would have yelped with a cut that bad? She had to have known she nicked him and I'm irritated she did not tell me about it. So I sent her a very nice, polite e-mail with the photos and all she said was: "I am so sorry! Have the nicks healed? I will keep his face longer." I don't know, should I be irritated?
