Pups needs heartworm meds. So if ivermectin caused a problem, then another should be tried.
Thank you for clearing it up for me...I made a mistake I assumed all heartworm medicines contained Ivermectin becaue when the optho talked about heartworm meds and Ivermectin he mentioned both Heartgard and Interceptor as examples...he probably didn't realize they're made of different things?
Either way, Teddy had a hard time with Interceptor so it the Ivermectin shouldn't bother him (he did fine when he took Heartguard)
