Thank you, Pat, I will make note of that. I tried the cotton balls and found that water seeped in anyway ... I probably didn't insert them correctly.
I did find it interesting that their little ear canal goes so deep. Fortunately, she has only had one infection in her life but I understand it's quite common in lots of breeds.
