I have a nozzel attachment on my sink that I rince with, but when I do Gizmo's head I always use a washcloth to wet the top of his head and when doing the ears, I take my thumb and kind of fold the ear to block the opening, when soaping around the ears and rinsing. Never had any water get in the ear canal at all.
