Don't wait until she is having pain!!! Then, it is harder to control.
I medicate my pups for 3 days following surgery no matter what. I would rather give them a pain med and know they are pain free than to not give it and have them be in pain and not show it. They do not always show pain!
My vet always sends pain meds home after spays.
